Who are we and why should you trust us?
The Team
Our goal is to rethink ecommerce, not rehash it. We’re a small team, but we’re passionate about providing the most flexible ecommerce solution available, and we value you as a potential customer enough to be honest with you: If you’re looking for a big, established company, FoxyCart is not for you.
Our size, however, allows us to implement functionality and respond to customer concerns quickly. And just because we’re small doesn’t mean you should expect less from us. We have one of the only one-page checkout + multiship in the world, and have the most streamlined “new v. returning user” logins we’ve seen.
Currently our team is headed by Brett Florio and Luke Stokes, with a few others that assist part-time with certain aspects of our system and documentation. If you’d like more information, please feel free to contact us.
The Security
We take security very seriously, and do everything we can to ensure the integrity of your customers’ information. We are PCI compliant, Safe Harbor compliant, have multiple security scans (PCI requirements 1, 5, 6), and adhere to best practices wherever possible. Our servers are all located in secure facilities (PCI requirement 9), and access to our systems are granted on a “need-to-know” basis (PCI requirement 7), as required by the PCI rules. FoxyCart is Robust
Some information that might give you a better picture of what’s going on with FoxyCart:
- Our main server has been running for 300+ days at a very low load, even with heavy traffic. (FoxyCart is performance optimized).
- Though we’ve experienced downtime in the past year, it’s all been caused by our host datacenter, and not our own systems. (As such, we’re in the process of moving to a more reliable host.)
- We get comments like, “As always, you’re awesome!”, in our inboxes on an almost daily basis.
